This little guy is ferocious. He lives inside my gut and is empowered by a neurological complex that is primarily concerned with hanging on to old hatred. He even hates himself. This photo, which captures a rare glimpse into his angry visage, is an unusually fitting image for the invisible predator. And he's very clever. He devours from within the gut of his host. He's a goddamn killer.
I wonder what evolutionary maxim compels his attendance in the human psyche. It could be as simple as prevention of foolish mercy being doled out to recidivists.
